Today in my game my cf was injured and instead of playing my backup cf, it put a backup midfielder at cf position for rest of the game. 02/02/2012 02:30

was your backup CF on the bench or a reserve? most likely this was the problem. 02/02/2012 05:28

From what I've read, the sim selects the highest average player on the bench and does not search for a similar position. I've had an RIM come in for a RF when there was an RF on the bench. However in one of my recent games, my LF was injured and my sub LF came in and he was not the highest avg on the bench. So yeah a little bit of this and a little bit of that in my comment make of it what you want. Just sharing. 02/02/2012 07:36

As far as I know its the highest avg player after taking into effect of versatility.
Means if i have a 70avg IM and a 60avg Cf on bench and a CF gets injured then IM will be sent only if his average for Cf position is more than 60

Then the best player is automatically selected. Problem solved. If a CF plays better at RF than a natural RF, so be it. 02/02/2012 11:38
