Does optimize work for friendlies? Just curious, because I just finished pro seats and optimized and the prices seem out of whack for a friendly. I wasn't going to do it for the friendly but forgot I had it scheduled. | 01/02/2012 03:26 |

Don't worry too much about pricing for friendlies, they aren't what you can get from a real game anyways. i just half my regular prices for friendlies and still make only a quarter of full game price. |

prices for friendlies are lower than for league games. My advice is to remember that prices for friendly and use them in every friendly ,and to optimize again for league games(last season I optimized prices for friendly once and used that prices in every friendlygame, income was about twice higher than with normal prices) | 01/02/2012 04:53 |

Optimizing your stadium sets prices in a way that will maximize revenue for your next home game. This mean, if you use it before a friendly, league game or private league match, you will get the prices that will give you the greatest returns for that match, and that match alone. A number of things are taken into account when determining how much revenue you will earn; the quality of your opponent, how well you've been playing lately, the quality of your team and the type of game (friendly vs. other matches) to name some. This means, when you optimize, the system will tell you what price combination will maximize your revenue for all of these circumstances. Optimizing before a friendly game will ensure you earn the most revenue for that match. That being said, keep in mind that you earn substantially less for these games (roughly 10% of league games), so optimizing it for these games likely won't give you the returns it would if you did it for a league game. A general rule of thumb is to do it before you play a middle table team in your league. When it give you these prices, you can then adjust them up a few dollars for when you play a better team or your team is on a roll, or down a few dollars when you play a bottom dweller while you're slumping. Doing it for a friendly game doesn't allow you this option, as your prices will likely be far from what they would be against even the worst teams in your table. I think, and I could be wrong, if you optimize it once based on what I've said you really shouldn't have to optimize it ever again! I hope this helps; feel free to ask for clarification!
