From what i've seen . GK with very high leadership tends to run out of the box and grab the ball most of the time , while low leadership GK stayed their ass near the goal and wait for the striker to kick the ball |

i remember someone in a thread saying that leadership can give a boost to all players, with a high leadership improving the squad more noticiably than a lower leadership. not sure if there is any truth to this | 30/01/2012 16:13 |

Leadership is for dead-ball situations. High leadership on a GK makes him a better penalty/Free kick saver. High Leadership on an outfield player makes him a better Free Kick/Penalty Taker. LF/RF are useful for free kicks because they typically have high leadership and high finishing as well. You will find you get better results using a player with high leadership on free kicks even if you have a player with higher finishing. You will also notice that the training type 'Penalty shots' trains Leadership for LF/RF and 'Penalty saving' trains Leadership for GK. I don't think this is accidental  |
