For Christ sake, can somebody tell me why the system keep telling me "invalid tactics". I mean come on. The tactics I play should be at my own discretion. Pls tell me something ...!!! | 29/01/2012 00:13 |

It's most likely because you're trying to play too many players in one position or area and/or you're not playing players in a certain area like defenders for instance. Everybody has the same restriction so it's no disadvantage. | 29/01/2012 00:46 |

Playing 1 defender or No midfielders can't be done. You cannot play an 10-0-0. simple as that. You have to have a minimum number of defense, midfield, and forward (2,2,1 I think are the minimums in each area, with a maximum of 2 at any one position) Please don't reiterate the non-logic of "I should be able to do what I want" argument. This is the rule of this game, and it allows for a pretty diverse set of formations. If you can't fit what you are looking for in that, you are probably trying to stretch the game. This is not a good formation: ![]() Nor this: ![]() This is valid with 6 defenders, but for entirely different reasons: ![]() |

So when did this new rule come to play. You know what? Better take this quote off the sigh-in page "FULL CONTROL of your team: re-sign your stars, remodel your stadium, study your opponents..." There is nothing like full control of anybody's team here on this game. Its like, very soon, managers will not be allowed to create their own formations and will be told to stick to the default formations and be told "these are our rules; if u don't fit in get out"; all because some managers are trying to be creative and think differently. Well, like the @ rightly said, "its the rule of the game ...(what ever that means)" I guess I have to stick by them. Reasons like these that make me have trouble with FREE STUFF...! |

FULL CONTROL does not mean WITH NO RULES WHATSOEVER. And as a grammatical thing. ":" is a colon, that means "to list" So, why not quote the main page! "FULL CONTROL of your team: re-sign your stars, remodel your stadium, study your opponents..." You have FULL CONTROL to resign your stars, remodel your stadium, and studying your opponents. Oh, wait, did you read the rest of that page?? You also get to: Choose your signings wisely, select the best strategy, and face off friends to become the best manager in the world. "Select the best strategy" = Choosing a formation within the set of rules given. (yes, you can find quotes in this game to justify almost anything. Just not that quote to justify unlimited defenders or whatever) |

You think you're the first person to try and play as many players in one place as possible? Anyone can take a bucket of paint and throw it at a wall. It's much harder to be creative and think differently when the scope is limited in some way. Them's the brakes, kid. ![]() |
