I think that it would be nice if Golden Balls were permitted to be part of a trade/multi-offer. 28/01/2012 21:05

YA it would be nice, but it would be bribing.

The economic disadvantage to those that can't afford it would be great.
The economic advantage to those that can would be immense. Someone that buys 1,000 Usd worth of GBs could instantly have a Div 2-3 team ready compete. Someone with 2,000 usd worth of gbs could have a Div 1-2 team ready to compete.
Someone with 2,500+ usd could buy the best team in the game over-night.

Do you think that is fair to people that have invested many months of their time in here?

I'm not someone who would buy GB, so I agree with some of your points (not really fair, advantages to some, disadvantages to others, etc., etc., etc.), but I think it would be nice if there were be a way to obtain GB without downloading suspicious software, using real money, or giving away personal information to unknown online entities, etc., etc., etc.
In response to your statements that people "could" have a fantastic team overnight, I would say that they could, but I don't think that they would do this because everyone would know that they are trying to buy their way to the top instead of earning it. I understand this would not hinder some of the sneakier, wealthier managers, but I know that, morally, few will deliberately cheat the system if it costs them their losing merit in the game.
Thank you for your original reply.

No problem, thank you for your post : )

Well another way of obtaining GBs is buying them. They could award more GBs to the top 3 teams of each Division at the end of the season....

But, I would like to underline the fact that the economic system, capitalism, which this game is based... has very few options of trade. One is true trading or bartering for goods (exchange of goods by trading) or have that exchange with money. So money already exists in the system. An extra monetary system or value would have interesting effects in the system; please note that under capitalism this introduction of acquiring goods is actually "black market money".
