I am currently have two computers a laptop and a desktop. I would like to have the value of my money as £ on both computers, but alas one says £ and the other says 'Euro' as the currency. The problem is that it makes me lose money and sometimes spend more than i should as i don't realise. Please could someone tell me how to change the currency so that I can have '£' on both computer and laptop? Thanks in advance  |

Just so that you're aware, the only difference between the two currencies in this game is the symbols themselves. If you have £1000 and you change the currency to euro, then you will have 1000€. How this problem makes you lose money in any way is completely beyond me. I'm pretty sure it's just the region setting for your team. However, since I doubt you would change your teams region everytime you log into a different machine it's probably something else. Sometimes, for no reason at all, my currency switches between $ and €. It's weird, but in terms of how much money you have it makes absolutely no difference. |

I do appreciate your reply and I'll try to explain how I've noticed a few things... I sold a player earlier and at one stage the price was up to £1.010.000 then the price was $1.020.000, Whilst I understand at this point it looks normal and as you say consistent with the currency. Later it turned out that the price went from £1.060.000 to Euro974.000 (a price that was outbid) So I am concerned about whether it does in fact have any financial implications. Thanks for your reply, I shall check the region settings on my Desktop computer later |

Not sure what happened in that auction for you but I can tell you that the values for each currency are equal no matter which one you choose. If they weren't then it would make determining the value of players very difficult since for each price you listed in forum or in market you would also need to list the going exchange rate. | 28/01/2012 02:44 |

I think it would add to the realism and excitement of the sim if currency trading, futures, options etc. was added to the game |
