I'm sure this question is addressed somewhere but I couldn't find the answer by searching. When someone re-signs a player, they get a "R" symbol, which I gather protects them from hostile takeovers. How long does this protection last? Is it different for seniors/juniors? Thanks! |

The (R) exists only for juniors and it protects them untill they are promoted to the senior team | 25/01/2012 22:09 |

So if someone has a 16-year-old superstar junior that they re-signed for 500 EUR, they can hang on to him for 3 seasons until he gets automatically promoted, with no danger of hostile takeover? |

No, it's protection until the end of the season, at which point you resign | 25/01/2012 22:18 |
