Right, glad they called updates and not improvements. LOL ![]() Anyway, sometime ago we voted for a few things to improve the game with regard to beating the offside trap and these items were recommended to the developers(I believe). Throughballs, 1v1 situations, cards for "hacking" tackles etc. So as far as implementing these changes I have not noticed much change. I believe now setting up a tactic to beat the offside trap is a little easier with defenders slower when playing the high line. However, the "intelligence" of the attackers is just not there, throughballs, 1v1, 2v1, 2vGK, these situations seem to end in heartbreak, not to mention that the defenders also end up just hacking down my players as well(yellow/red card anyone?). Right, just making my voice heard. So here is my doubt and question, offside trap is here to stay, will more start using it? and will the game developers continue to find ways to improve the attackers? Offside is your choice, no need to be punished for that but why should my attack suffer especially when breaking free of the shackles of the offside trap. I just want more intelligence for my attackers and I'll be happier. |

I'm thoroughly enjoying every time my attackers break through a high OT and watching those defenders turn and run with lead boots to try catch them. Some people disagree with the update to make defenders slower getting back from halfway and I see their point. Its not very realistic. (yes, yes...its just a game, but we do need some sort of realism) Yes, I pushed hard for changes to the OT and they came in the way devs saw fit. Remember tho, that we are only a few weeks into the new updates and they are still fine tuning them and fixing the winger bug etc. I foresee, as long as users like you keep asking for the changes, we will get further additions that will improve the overall game-play and thats what we all want. Already in my opinion with my defence where it should be I'm playing a far more open and tactical game than before and enjoying it immensely ![]() |

When 1 on 1, or 2 on 1 versus the keeper the players should never be penalized for being offside. The players need to be smarter than that. | 25/01/2012 15:12 |

well i would like to add my view for this i have 2 points with Strikers being more smart and powerful 1.GK's still jumps after the ball passed through him in a free kick now n many times ball crawls down the ground n keeper does not move 2.Strikers do not pass to players who are offside as often as they did but still defenders kick out the ball when near the goal post which results in a cornor which in turn results in a easy goal because of improvement to the striker, in real life no one would do it, they will try to make it a throw in. I know that they might be working on this but all these issues are inter related to each other, fixing one and leaving out other makes the game more dependent on a single position like strikers with high finishing and again the question of Inflation and disparity between divisions kicks in. I do not wish to see a game where if i am facing a div 2, i should give up hopes of winning it. |
