If a player is forecasted to be at 70 and he doesnt play, nor train, will he still grow to be at 70? For example, if I only trained forwards and my GK was forecasted to be 70, will he still be at 70 later? If he doesn't play, also. Thanks |

Nope, he'll stay the same rating forever if he is not trained. If he is trained but doesn't start in your games, his training will be decreased because his motivation will be lower (80% motivation if he can be substituted, 55% motivation if he doesn't travel with the team). All those positional players will grow who are supposed to grow from that particular scheduled training and not just the starting 11. Although the growth wont be same for all the players. The starting 11 will grow with maximum motivation(+100%), bench warmers will grow with +75% and reserves will grow with +50%. So when you train RB, it trains all RBs but with different motivation. |

Thanks The new sim and training system has made it possible for the players to grow even when they are in their late twenties. I have seen players growing even at 28-29 years. So suppose you have a 90 Forecast GK who is only 20 years old now, but for the next 5 seasons you do not train him even once, will still grow when you begin to train him after those 5 seasons. |
