1. I feel that if i have used advanced tactic, the lines of Defence, Midfield and Attack would become meaningless, is that true?

2. When my team is in attacking in opponent field, and my CF is being marked by the defender, my team tends to behind my CF and not to go forward to have a chance for shoot (even the opponent has a very deep Defence line & there is 100% no risk of offside) ?

Any explanation and suggestion? Thanks

1)No the lines of defense, midfield and offense work for every tactic that you use. If you do not touch it or change it when making a new tactics, it will still show its effect on the game but according to the basic tactic the system has created. So make sure you use them for every tactic and use them well.

2)Some teams play deep defense while others play off side trap. So if you play against an active team then i would suggest you check out his style of defense and according to that use your offense.

-Suppose he play a very high off side trap then you can use the formation where your strikers are playing much behind than usual so that they can avoid constantly getting off sides , beat the trap and can run all the way towards the opponents goal.

-And if he plays a deep defense, then use your formation where your attackers are normally positioned in the opponents half so you are more closer to his goal and get a better chance of scoring a lot of goals.

Thank you for your answer^^

But i still don't really understand something in the 'advanced formation' & 'the lines of defense, midfield and offense' since i seems to type wrong from "advanced formation" to "advanced tactic" .

E.g. when i set up a strategic of offside trap (by using the advanced formation), i found that if i change the depth of defense line and the result would be no change. It also follows how i set the moving in advanced formation. And also in attack line.
Is it an illusion?

If you change the depth of defense line you will see the difference. Some teams have complained that their defenders sit very close to the GK despite they position the defenders not that low in the advanced formation. This happens when the defense line is deep down. I have also tried this before and it is pretty much what happens.

If the line is higher up the field, then the opposite will happen.

So when you plan to play offside trap and deep defense then you have to keep in mind where your defensive line should be.

Right formation needs right tactics.
