@solirocket said: -1 i just disagree with anything that anyone suggest anymore to make using an offside trap harder. It's one of the strategies of the simulator, you can already beat it if you play it properly. No need to make it harder for those who use it. -1 stop hiding behind your offside trap |

here is the reason offside trap is so widely used. Someone (in this case it was me) uses it. Wins a bunch of stronger teams with it. People think its the best strategy. More people use it. Many people fail at first. Some of them fix it. And you got several people with a good offside trap. Now someone else starts using another strategy. fails at first (just like those who used offside trap failed). He gives up because he thinks his strategy sucks and offside trap is better. When 2 offside trap strategies meet each other, 1 of them has to win. So using offside trap does not guarantee winning, or even give you an advantage. But working on making an offside trap better does give you an advantage just like working on ANY other strategy gives you an advantage. |

i agree but in this game there with the lack of through balls etc a lot depends on the speed of players to break the offside trap... and with wingers behaving the way they are these days ( running up upto goal line and not shooting) even that strength is being negated... | 24/01/2012 07:48 |

I have no problem with my winger scoring...he has over 30 goals in my normal league and is the top scorer in my PL i think. Through balls, they do happen...not often but much better than before. | 24/01/2012 07:56 |
