 why the hell has my goalkeeper gone missing again?

i had a goalkeeper go missing a month or two ago and paid 15 million to replace him.
the replacement goalkeeper who was the best player i have, has now gone missing and i have 14.5m from an apparent sale.

I DID NOT SELL THIS PLAYER.

this is the 2nd time iv been screwed like this and i want to know whats going on.

is there a cheat or glitch people are using to steal my players?
been using this game for months now and if this is gonna keep happening everytime i get my team in shape, whats the point?

yeah ok atleast i got some money this time but the GK was 52 overall and i cant replace him easily...... and why should i have to? 		16/01/2012 18:41

neither it was not a cheat nor any bug nor he is not stolen nor he is eaten by a ghost , he was paid his release clause n bought, you were not paying enough salary to him. 		16/01/2012 18:57

 so he just decided to leave without warning?
i have had no notifications or clues that anyone might leave of theyr own accord.

if im not paying people enough, how much am i supposed to pay them? where do i find out that my player is going to be loyal and not drop me right in the proverbial.

if he was unhappy with his salary, surely i should have been informed so that i could amend it.

u should have known that by now ...

hostile clause , someone can buy your player .. i can now pay the hostile clause of your player .. and in 24 hours he is mine .. for example i hire ur cdf
for 4,7 mill and he is mine..increase his salary and the 4,7 mill would be higher

In the players menu/ contract, look at similar transfers and you'll get a rough idea how much he's likely to be bought for. Then increase his salary so his release clause is say double the transfer price, then you should be safe.... hence should be.!!! Bottom line is 'if you dont pay, your player will stray!!  i had no reason to think that it might be possible to headhunt like that, especially being as how last time my goalkeeper went walkies, nobody ever cleared up why that was and my staff sure as hell dont tell me anything like that.

if my coaching staff can tell me daily when a player is ready for promotion to the senior squad, im sure one of my staff should be able to warn me either that im underpaying players or that someone has placed a bid on my player.

the clause is a good idea to be honest, i just dont agree with it being totally covert and without warning when a player is being snatched.

now i know to keep an eye on all my wages i will, i really think a notification of some sort is needed, either to warn you of your low salaries or deffinately to warn that a player is about to leave.

luckily i have a reserve GK, if i didnt, i would be in even bigger bother than this has already left me in....... for the 2nd time.

kinda gutted cos iv just been promoted this season and its looking like relegation already. 		16/01/2012 22:32
