I heard of a tactic where you sell season tickets as low as possible. Then you raise the general seating price to extremely high amounts. Does this work? Can anyone confirm this? Thank you. |

Thank you. You'll actually lose money that way because season ticket holders only pay once a season. What you wanna do is lower season tickets to like 50 for a couple weeks this season, then raise your season tickets to like 10,000 before start of next season. |

How does raising it before the season help? Does it attract more people? |

Theres two ways of looking at it: way 1 - the lump sum You put your season ticket low, get lots of partners but not many people going in general every week. At the end of the season, you put season tickets to the maximum, you get (partners x season ticket price) in money and get a huge lump sum, but not much each week. way 2- the every week Put season tickets high, then people will pay for general seating every week, you will get a steady flow of money, but not much in the way of the 'bonus' described in way 1 at the end. You have to work out whether you will make more by people paying every week or the sum at the end, or try to do a bit of both. People generally use way 2 but it doesn't mean it'll be right for you ![]() |

Wisely said. And the way ive got mine at the moment is a low season ticket and have 1740 season ticket holders with plenty of seats for general public to attend. And if i were to raise season tickets to 10000 at beginning of next season id roughly bring in lump sum of 17+ million. | 14/01/2012 16:54 |

I don't understand. So we don't get the season ticket money until the end of the season? Why raise the price? |

Why raise the price? simple, if u keep the prices low like 100 or so people will pay it and occupy ur seats for rest of season, assume u have 20 matches left n u charge 25 for general seats u will get 20 X 25 = 500 n if u keep ur season ticket price at 100 u get 100 only so loss = 500 -100 = 400 i hope i am clear or please use the following link n search for it, this was answered many times. http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/buscar.php |

You get $25 per person the day they buy their tickets this season (that includes a ticket for every game for the rest of the season for only one payment of $25). Then, if you raise the price at the end of this season, they'll re-up at the beginning of next season for the new price and you'll get a lump sum. IMO, this is a bug that all of the partners that bought at the low price then buy at the extremely high price. Why would a partner pay 10,000 for the season ($200-$250 per game) when they could pay $30-$50 per game by just buying tickets to each game. Completely unrealistic and will only serve to increase inflation in player prices because of the huge influx of money into the game. Edited by sabrefan62 15-01-2012 04:16 |
