I know there's a transfer ban against people who have ever used the same IP, even if only once. This is a decent way to prevent cheating. But it's all transfers, hostiles, transfer agreements, I think auctions too. But loans? Why loans?

I'd prefer to loan to someone I know in real life because I KNOW I can trust them, rather than putting it in the hands of some random stranger. I believe I'm not the only one who hasn't had the best of experiences with loaning to a stranger.

If anyone can give me a definite reason why this would lead to more abuse, I'll withdraw it now.

Loans should be made separate from other transfers.

I'll explain:

If it was allowed, then people would create teams for "dad", "brother", "sister". With 4 teams you can train the entire team at once at max speed. Gives you an ultimate advantage.

You can only loan 1 person to any given team. 3 seniors and 3 juniors. You're forgetting that.

It'd have to be especially complex and with at least 5 teams, not to mention there'd be some other factors that would be picked up on.

I'm not forgetting anything, with 4 teams at your disposal you give 3 of your ,for example, junior players from each team to another team. So you can designate one for training GK's(3 loaned+1 or 2 of yours), second defense(same concept), third mids and forth team would train forwards....

By not allowing things like that it discourages people from having multiple accounts, thus having a fair game.

And if any one of you who are reading this thinks it's a good idea, don't even think about, you WILL get busted.

What I would suggest though is an option to revoke the lease if you are not happy with the team where your loaned player went (training too slow, team became a bot team or whatever reason). This is in case someone promised you that he will train your player well, but in reality just using him in his advantage, or quit the game completely. 11/01/2012 05:56

Not going to happen without sanctions like you said yourself. So I don't know why you put all of this to get your point about hew's idea being bad.
Advice to others:
Creating accounts and make transactions with each other = HUGE mistake and you will be caught in NO time of your "business".
All kind of cheating will be caught anyway so the more you last the worst it gets since your team will go very far then suddenly ALL gone forever.....

I can see both points of view. I allowed my mate to setup his team on my PC when I first joined not knowing that this would limit any kind of transfers we could enter into as well as Prizes for PL. Still this season I tried to do the loan thing and finding people I trust to handle my players is tough. I mean 6 players means 6 different teams. With my lower div ranking, that means I have a choice of the most inexperienced managers to handle my rough diamonds that need polishing. That's not an issue when someone has put time in to understand the game but very few lower division managers do nor do they stick around. Anyway, I've taken a chance with a few of my players and hope that they come back better.

I guess those who genuinely want to cheat have messed it up for the rest of us.

My comment " this thinks it's a good idea, don't even think about" was not about the hew's post, it was about creating multiple teams.

I'm not saying it's a bad idea, I was just explaining why it's not gonna happen, and then he said you need five teams... yada yada... you know the rest.

It's like in the army, one guy messes up and the rest of the squad ends up cleaning bathroom with toothbrushes.
