In my reply to your post I indicated that using basic formation will not help you against an offside trap. Just use common sense - in basic formation you can only pull your forwards back behind penalty box, when with advanced formation your opponent can pull his/hers defense as far as center line. That's what I was referring to as not a bug but just a lack of knowledge on your part.

So, if you don't want to listen and think that my suggestion to you was no help at all, fine, keep using a basic formation.

There are some cases of unfair offside calls, and developers know about just check the forum. But just because you get 30 offsides in a game with basic formation, don't call it a bug.
