Guys (and the girls who have private messaged me ), This isn't some temporary melodramatic attention seeking diaspora. Some of the issues in this game GENUINELY pissed me off. It just feels at times that the developers have taken the perfect engine from a perfect car, and built the worse possible chassis around it. The car keeps having issues. Don't get me wrong, the engine is fine, and apart from the occasional stutter, it runs perfectly. But then one day, it hit 100 Degrees Farenheit (37.7 Degrees Celsius) and you need to take a long ass journey, and THAT'S the day the AC decides to stop working. You then take the car to go and pick up some girls outside a club, but they all laugh at you because the bonnet is a different colour to the rest of the car. So after this debacle, you go home for the night (alone), and you pick up a copy of your favourite Car Magazine, and you find an article saying that the model of your car has faulty indicators - So you go and take your car to the mechanic, and there's nobody there. You then start spreading the word about it, and people listen, but the mechanics and the manufacturers just aren't doing too much about it. Eventually, you end up taking an unlucky left turn and drive into a bus/overweight individual. And all of a sudden, the manufacturers announce that they are sorting out certain issues with the car. Now had the manufacturers even ACKNOWLEDGED an issue with the car, or instead, just took a look at all the issues and sorted out the entire chassis, all potential issues would be minimised. It doesn't matter that it packs a V12 Twin Turbofire P**sy Magnet Torque hungry intense global warmer. Eventually, with a car like that, you can't help but love it. But at the same time you know it's not good for you. Some people sell straight away, other just finally have enough and get rid of it. But there are a select few who stick with it through al the trials and tribulations. Never have I ever said that I don't enjoy this game. But there are times it makes me feel like tearing the screen off my laptop. I still feel i want to quit. And I'm still keeping open the possibility that it might become a reality at the end of the season. Many people have also said that if I was going to quit, I would have quit immediately, and it's me being dramatic etc..etc... I have a simple answer to those people: You're all full of sh*t. Not just ordinary sh*t, but... I have three players in my squad on loan from others. I have promised these people I would look after and train some of their best prospects for the rest of the season. It would hardly make me a trustworthy person if i had decided to just immediately delete my account. Not to mention that I have built up a very strong squad, and people ask me for my players all the time. Especially the good juniors I haven't re-signed. If it turns out that I don't want them, then surely the fair thing to do would be to give them to the people who have been asking me for weeks? @Soli has asked me for my Junior DFM, and offered me stupid money for him. I refused to sell. I still refuse to sell. That player will only leave my squad after I slap a £150 Million Hostile Clause on him, and somebody comes along and pays that money for him. Even then, I'd make whoever it was wait the full 24 hours for him. But my point is, if I was going to quit, surely the reasonable thing to do would be to sell this player to somebody who has been asking me for days? But not only that - Having spent ages on building something, it isn't easy to just burn it to the ground. And last time I checked, Golden Balls doesn't buy you SM Life Insurance. Nor can you put a 'freeze' on your profile like Facebook allows you to. I am pretty damn sure that Valarbaloo regrets quitting. I mean after all, he sell no more juniors and seniors and can no longer negociate. But had he have waited until the end of the season, he most probably would have come to the same decision - Only with less regrets. THAT'S why I didn't just immediately delete my account. I genuinely came close to it. And I am still thinking about it, and I still want to quit at the end of the season. But I'm not going to be an idiot and just walk out, only to wake up the next morning and think: SH*T! Logging into this place has become second nature to me. I log in here before even Facebook these days. And Lord knows I've been thinking of quitting/scaling down that! Ultimately, I got too emotionally attached to this game. And when u get so emotionally attached and spend a lot of time and effort, small things DO p*ss you off. But it seems to me that sometimes the basics of this game happen to go wrong. And it's more annoying than those x-rated dreams u have of Megan Fox or Preity Zinta (google her) - Only to get back to the bedroom and then some annoying refuse collector/Jehovah's Witness knocks on the door to wake you up. And I don't get annoyed easily. I take my hostiling seriously, and only twice have i gotten THAT annoyed whilst playing this game. The first time was when some idiot in General Chat accused me of selling sub-standard players. Which I never do. (Interestingly, I have some great Juniors on auction at the moment, all averaging 40+. Check 'em out) But with hostiling being such a MAJOR part of this game, it stands to reason that rules and regulations need to be established. It isn't right that User created FAQs and Wiki's are what binds the law of this game. The official help section should contain this. And ALL the rules and regulations need to be written and codified. But most importantly, it needs to be done OFFICIALLY. Too often I hear of something from @reb, or Uruguay, or somebody else on General chat/Forum. But what about the people who play this game WITHOUT interacting on chat? I can only guess how annoyed they may get with things they just don't understand, and rules they just don't know. We all find it annoying when some noob comes along and asks: How can I play Match? Surely this is a question that should be answered to them before they even start playing? Now I mean no disrespect to the @/Admins/whoever. But people asked question after question about why I'm quitting etc..etc.. And this is pretty much why. Some said I'm quitting without giving the game a chance. I HAVE given the game a chance, and i WILL be giving the game a chance for the rest of the season. This isn't an ultimatum, but just a simple fact attached to my involvement with the game. People were right when they said I should give it a chance. And they were right when they said that this decision is a little too gung-ho. But I AM still intending to quit. All I am doing is giving this game the respect it deserves, and trying to be patient. Hence, at the end of the season, all factors remaining equal, I will still quit. Assuming there is ANY kind of progress. ANY, in terms of re-defining the system of this game, I would be happy to stay. I like this game. i like the people who play this game. (some of you) I WANT to stay. But I felt I had to quit as the way things were going were simply doing my head in. I have to say a big thank you for everybody's kind messages. Aside from the few w**kers that are in anti-intellectual abundance. But that's to be expected on the internet. However, I want to finish on a lighter note, and I am sure all of you reading this (who have spoken to him) should find it hilarious - And as sad as it was, I couldn't help but chuckle to myself. And as unintended as it was, and as much as I don't want to give him any credit, it kinda made me want to stay for some obscure reason I can't seem to fathom for the life of me :S <shariq97> hi <ee12345> hey <shariq97> i found some players <ee12345> nice <shariq97> i hostile 2 <shariq97> 1 wid some prog <shariq97>http://uk.strikermanager.com/jugador.php?id_jugador=867927 <ee12345> lol, u should read the forum <shariq97>http://uk.strikermanager.com/jugador.php?id_jugador=6002037 <shariq97> for what Dee i should read the forum? <ee12345> I'm quitting at the end of the season bro <shariq97> y ? <ee12345>http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=272166 <shariq97> aww thats silly bro <shariq97> hey can u give me ur OM <shariq97> i will pay u gud money <shariq97> plsssssss <shariq97> uhh?
