 I'd find it helpful to see something more similar to a bank statement, showing four columns (only):

DATE -- DESCRIPTION -- INCOME -- EXPENSE

With only one transaction per line. And then we can sort the table by any of those.

And then it just keeps rolling along, month after month, for us to review the history if we want.
