Hey guys!

I want to know what I'm doing wrong here:

http://uk.strikermanager.com/partido.php?id=4222358&accion=datos

It's kind of hard to watch a game with such an overwhelming advantage and nothing happens....well 25 offsides happen.

In my tactics set-up my FWD line is as back as it would go and still this happens. I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong but would sure appreciate some tips regarding this? Thank you!

I can't watch as I'm on mobile now. But if your forwads are placed advanced in the formation, then move your forwards/wings back even more in the advanced formation. Even then you may get flagged some, but hopefully not as much.

My pvt league game against Soli this past weekend had around 60 total offsides, and we didn't have our forwards up very far.

Also, I ve not a clue what the red yellow and green lines do, so hopefully someone wiser than me can help...

Fair enough. What method do you then use to determine how far back do you place them - do you actually watch previous games of all your opponents or do you always just play the forwards more to the back? 02/01/2012 20:04

I believe Namester posted something about this. Either on Striker News or somewhere here, I'll try to find it for you. 02/01/2012 20:22

I use a mixture, but if you think you're opponent will have an offside trap and you want to completely ignore it, then keep your players level with the ball in the opposing half.
