by that logic, why divide the ticket revenue even?

It gives the little teams something to hope for: To have that one big game that showers them with millions of cash for a change.

i wonder if that was the motive of developers when they decided to divide the ticket revenue... 29/12/2011 09:19

The home team advantage is not random. It's decided by who has the better goal difference in their last cup game (at least that's how it was last season), much like the Champions League.

I don't think that's the case, because it's already decided who will have the home game before the games of the round before take place. For example I already know that I will have an away game if I win my first Cup game and reach the next round.

+1, but I doubt it they will do that

I already suggested that a couple of months ago... I get a revenue of something around 7 million for homegames, the lower division teams I play get something around 500k, if they play a match in my stadium and revenue is divided they still get 7 times as much as they would when they would play in their own stadium.

On a side note, anyone know what this is all about?

You got a bye because there aren't enough opponents for everyone to play the first round. 29/12/2011 13:22

It totally wasn't decided by that. I played Nasios at home in the semi finals after beating Rishu 2-1. Nasios beat Nacional 6-1 in the previous round.

That's very untrue, it's predetermined by the bracket, which is random.

This random rules might be very unfair, but...

We've discused this many times. There's no easy solution, as many of you have pointed here, games on lower div teams home, would give less ticket income. Other solution will be, not sharing revenue.

We will talk this again.
