It would be nice if we could clarify what had actually been improved regarding goals to shots. Sometimes I have 30 shots on goal, and yet only 4-7 go in.

More importantly, goal success should be near 85% chance of occurring when your player is 1v1 on the keeper. The player should not shoot it wide, etc when unchallenged. It's unrealistic.

well it appears you won your last two league games 21-0 total. that to me is unrealistic lol and my team has similar results in div 5. unfortunately there are so many bot teams that result in crazy mismatches of talent that making the simulation anymore real would result in scores of 20 or 30 to 0 in some cases.

i really think all they were saying is if you take 40 shots and the opponent only takes 2 or 3, it is unlikely that the opponent will win as your team is clearly superior. there were complaints in the past that teams that took one shot would win 1-0 etc....

Last 2 matches i won 13-0 and 11-0 so believe me they really modified the shot on goal %. 20/12/2011 19:30

Which is absolutely "realistic" by the way! It might not happen very often in real life soccer, but I've seen it happening myself quite a few times.

so you think that teams that get out shot 50-1 should potentially win 1-0? that is realistic to you? i don't think i have ever seen that happen in real life lol. the point also being that this game is not real life so don't expect real life outcomes or for the simulator to take into account "extreme" results which may happen once in a blue moon.

i do agree that teams that take 1 shot can potentially win a game 1-0 if the teams are an even match however this update was done to address the lopsided games in which one team is far superior to the other.

My frustration thus far, is that when you have a striker who is 1 v 1 with the keeper... many times the striker MISSES THE NET completely. I don't mind if the keeper (who is decent) saves the ball 2-3 times out of 10. But if you are 1 v 1 with a keeper, you should score. The game shouldn't make you miss the net so many times. 20/12/2011 23:34

The result is realistic, but the simulation aren't. I think what developer are doing is to keep the result maintain realistic.

However in some cases, if you had a better forward and opponent with a weak GK, then the percentage of scoring are high.

If developer are about to make the simulation/statistic to be realistic, there will he a lot of work and thus may effect their "progression" in eliminates major bug as well as minor ones.

For me, the realistic result needed to be kept and if developer have times, they also need to improve the unrealistic simulation/statistic.
