As far as I can see, there’s a lot of team with bots.

Start from division 3 up to the latest 7th division. Group also quite too much.

Based on manager’s rating and team ranking, maybe developer can automated the division promotion so that most of active users will fill in at least the top 10 of groups in each division and battle between each other.

I found that the system bot’s team problems affecting the overall gaming. Yes, it may benefits some teams but I can say it is tough for newbie.

It just a thought.

I think it is better the way it is so that teams can either accept or reject a promotion offer. One may not be prepared for the competition and demands of a higher league. However, I think at the beginning of a season, the groups in each division should be trimmed, removing the Bots. That way, even if a Bot win a league, it wouldn't be promoted. 19/12/2011 20:23

Yep, did think of that. But some managers being sacked and left their team with bots. While searching for players to hostile, I've noticed in div. 7 are most left behind. If not promote them in higher division, maybe half each season, reconstruction need to be made.

If not automated, but give the chance to choose whether they still wanted to play with those bot's team or users; by offering the team in division with high bots to the same division but different group so it wouldn't be a drastic change.

Doesn't need to be regular, enough at least once each season so other's team still can keep their performance.

I don't know if this is already implemented.

I suggest this as looking at stats which shows teams without managers are more than active managers.

Maybe my point of view aren't very clear, perhaps we shall share here.

Thanks for your response bro. =)

You cant trim groups, you would mess up all the promotion/ relegation slots.

The best way to solve this is to run the "random offer to promote" program they have at the BEGINNING of the season and keep running it until all the bot teams have been replaced and then stop.
I received a number of offers to take over positions 15-20 in the league above mine in the 2nd half of the season which is pointless as you cannot make the promotion spots and your sponsor bonus position either.

Not a terrible idea but would need quite a bit of fine tuning. Especially since managers are sacked all the time during a season, so we'd end up with bot teams in any case. Even active managers make mistakes and go in the red or just get tired of the game. I do like the "random offer to promote" that runs but did not receive a single offer this season. I really would have jumped at the chance, my league was so boring this season, I almost gave up. I'm hoping div. 6 will be a little better but having seen some of the leagues, I doubt it. I will plough through until I reach div. 5 and 4 hoping for the best. I like the game.

So here's a question, were the "random offers to promote" only given to div. 6 and up?

As far as I know random offers are given to all divisions - I guess there are so many managers in Div 7 you may not get one.
The system bot teams that appear during the season can be used again for the following season start.

I couldn’t agree more.

Most of newbies will get the same feeling. But for me, thanks to Ubuntu. He helped me a lot. =)

I guess, dev are using the “random promote” to counter the bot’s team issue. But it seems managers that being sacked are more than manager that willing to get promoted especially if their team aren’t ready for higher division.
