After some useful info from the chaps in the forum I've decided to concentrate on just training forwards and mid-fielders. When setting up the training which of the following is the best to improve them:
Saves
Penalty saving
Man-to-man marking
Intercepting passes
Clearances
Tackling
Running
In-depth passing
Dribbling
Shots on goal
Attacking headers
Penalty shots
Corner kicks
Crossing the ball
Beating markers
Catching high balls
Aerial Play
Running with the ball
Sprint
Ball-control

I know there are some excel spreadsheets out there but I can't get my head around them. I am also looking for overall position improvement not per player. All input would be greatly appreciated.

What mids? RIM IM OM and LIM don't combine as well with forwards. LM and RMs do though. You can train Sprint Shots on Goal and Crossing the ball - all 3 train LM RM Forwards and Wingers. 17/12/2011 17:39

Spot on again. So if I just rotate those then I will be giving everyone the maximum out of the training? I'll give it a go and see what the result's are. My main problem is the age of my side. I'll need to get some youngsters in next season and then just concentrate on training them up. I really want to put most of my spare cash into the stadium. 17/12/2011 18:28

What position does combine well (when training) with OMs and IMs? Or are they on their own island in terms of position? 17/12/2011 19:20

In depth passing running and shots on goal help both IM OM RIM and LIM.

Id think so as the aforementioned positions will be trained six times a week.

Good call on the stadium - pro and vips are really good.
