Could everyone just PLEASE... CALM THE F**K DOWN!!!! Ethena had a great idea, and he mean't well. But he's just a teenager, and clearly doesn't have the experience of how to run something like this in a manner acceptable to everyone. But he came out with the idea, and kudos to him for that. Just remember people, some people in this game are ADOLESCENTS. Some mature, and some not so mature. Others here are fully grown adults. So take it easy, ok? Ethena and 'the board' do not need any sh*t from anyone. Constructive criticism however, is something that people just haven't provided. So here is my two-pence: Ethena stays as facilitator - He conceived the whole damn idea, and made an attempt to make it work BEFORE anyone else. We have a nomination system. ANYONE from SM can nominate up to 3 managers. The 6 managers with the most nominations are voted for on the forum. This can be done through a volunteers mailbox. Does that make sense people? |

Nobody really understands why I gave up, so I shall explain one more time. This is a game yes? So for me to continue putting in effort creating new things for everyone to enjoy, I have to be finding it fun, as there are plenty other games out there. Who likes being criticised in everything they do? Do you find it fun to have arguments just for the fun of strangers? 1. The girl auction- 6 mails saying it is wrong and shouldn't happen. I'm ok with this. 2. The gender poll- 3 mails claiming I'm 'childish' and need to get a life. I laugh in their faces. 3. The charity match- at least 4 heated debates on people not believing I may actually be doing something good by donating (which I will still do) plus 7 mails. I'm starting to get annoyed now 4. Striker awards- all I shall say is: if everybody got their way, the shortlist of nominees would be 1000 long. I am NOT 'running away' I just feel that why bother trying to being a bit of laughter to this game when all people do is criticise? It's just a game. I'll see you in the final of Striker cup next year  Much love Ethena xx |

Maybe you should start longest post of the season award...  For me every guy who even answered 1 question is great person as it give the others another thread they don't have to sort out. Take a chill pill guys and get ready for new year bash. ( Both real and strikers') Have fun  |

I'm not sure how grantis offended you vijji, he said what he thought but I don't mind you keep arguing. Isn't that were all the fun comes from? You don't have to make a very long paragraph to explain what you've done and what the others "haven't" done. All these "but"'s...... Keep calm and keep doing your work. If anyone you talked about in your list made a paragraph saying what they did and what the others did and did not do, it would be as long as yours I "may" help a bit people on forum but that's only when I'm bored or just see interesting things so yeah I don't think I really want and deserve this kind of fame. *This part is to everyone else* If anyone says he helps people in private chat. Does that means the others don't? Same for everyone else who wants to keep b*tching. Ethena is the ONLY person who should found a way to decide the nominees. He had the initiative. If anyone else do not agree MAKE your OWN poll (I will vote )This really means nothing to me and it adds small entertainment. So guys you either put back the poll (agreeing), create your own polls or just start fights here while all the trolls add up some spices........hehe EDIT: I would also consider lucifercave. He caught MANY multi-accounting and suspect transactions. That guy deserves an appreciation. I still don't understand why people quote others and don't comment afterwards. Are they agreeing with the others person's post or just clinically retarded? Baffling. Anyways, Ethena for the love of god, keep doing what you do. You make the game more fun and at the very least more interesting if people start arguing about any posts you make. If people are bitching about your posts then you're on the right track. You really are. Keep on keepin' on. |

Vijji, All I wanted to do was thank a few people in the Manager of the Season(contribution) thread. Seemed like the best place to do it. I admit I overreacted a bit when told I couldn't. But I feel there shouldn't be one single manager of the season, there are a lot of good things going on and the reason this game works so well is the community as a whole helping each other. I see people who are helping every day and deserve a thank you, weather they are in the OP or not. I appologise for creating internet drama. But hey, no-one needs to listen to me, this is the internet and everyone has an opinion on the internet. I was amazed that ethena would delete the poll, just because I got pissed. As to replying to every thread "Read the FAQ's". Sometimes I say it myself, if there are 20 threads all asking the same thing. However most of the time it's not appropriate and you know what, I only reply to about 1 in about 10 threads now, the other 9 are replied to by people who have been helped in the past(not just by me, but by others as well). As to why I do it, there's two reasons. 1) I like doing it, it makes me feel better and 2) I've got 10 mins with nothing to do and I'm bored. |
