I built a school in netherlands because it is a five-star country but i noticed that there was also school quality. I don't understand what the rating signifies and what the quality signifies. 06/12/2011 00:37

Both affect the progression of the student produced.

The rating is, from my understanding, was determined by the developers. So the Netherlands is better than Austria - 5 * vs 1*. Which is pretty obvious when examining their history. It is a general guide to how good the players will be (in terms of progression).

As for the quality, that also determines the player progression. A High or Excellent school, generally, produces higher-progression students compared to Low rated schools. A Low Netherlands school should produce higher progression players than say a low Austria school.

As an example, my Excellent Netherlands produced a 83% progression RF. One of the best students I received from Austria is a 66% progression RM. My Regular Brazil produced a 66% LIM. A Regular Brazil produces about the same or better than an Excellent Austria (roughly).

Hope that clarifies some.

i agree with the fact that the quality of the school also affect the progression of the players you'll get but i think its only obvious if your school is low.now let me ask you, what progression of players would you expect from a brazil excellent school which is the best school in this game?there is no specified range of progression or quality of players with regards to the quality of the school for example for 5star schools 70 to 99,4star 60 to 89 etc.i'm saying this from personal experience because i have a brazil excellent school and i would have closed it if not that i know i won't get my cash back.i even got players with 50+ progression.however people say its good to have a school but i'll say you rather use the cash for your stadium. 06/12/2011 23:19

As far as I understood it a higher quality school only increases the chance of getting a higher progression player, not guarantee it. So you have more chance of getting a higher progression player from say Brazil excellent than you do from Brazil high, but you still get the average progression players showing up mostly. 07/12/2011 09:41

So if I have a low quality Brazilian school, I could get a 85 progression player but there's a very small chance of that happening? That's interesting. Does the quality or rating impact the initial average of the player or do all school players start at a particular average?

Initial averages all seem to be random. Btw, the chance of you getting a 85 prog player from a low brazillian are so low as to be non existant. 07/12/2011 23:02
