If i had a 2 balls coach, how wud it affect my team's progress, compared to a, say, 4 balls coach? 2 ball coach is about 40 %, give or take. 4 ball coach is about 80% give or take. A 4 ball coach is twice as good. I think the training formula is something like Motivation x Progression x Coach % x Training chosen (higher green bars, say Running for RB & LB trains higher than say Clearances, but of course they train different attributes). A good coach and youth coach are key to the game, in my opinion. |

Ah thanks, is this progression you speak of, the inherent player variation in determining his maximum potential? |

Partly. Someone smrtr (love this Simpsons) than me can probably better explain it. Basically progression determines how well a player learns & grows. Most people like high progression young players. Now whether there is a say 75% progression player whose forecast is only say 50, that I don't know. Someone else should speak on that. Hope that helps! |

Yes, its possible to get a player that has a higher progression than his forecast or viceversa. Mostly tho, they are roughly the same, so if you buy the player and you dont know his progression, you can spend 10GB on his forecast and you will have a pretty good idea what his progression is. In other words if I find a player with a forecast of 70, I know that he is not going to have a progression of 90. |

Thanks for the reply! So progression is the rate at which the player develops, whereas forecast is the development limit of said player? | 05/12/2011 16:24 |
