I keep getting offers to take the place of a Division 5 team. Assuming I have all of the stadium upgrades, is there a benefit to moving up now as opposed to winning the division I am in and moving up at the end of the season? If I take the place of a last place team, do I need to make sure to win enough games so I am not demoted at the end of the season? | 16/11/2011 05:56 |

The benefit, your stadium attendance will rise for extra income. Looking at your team, your team are good enough and may get enough win for not to be demoted next season after you accept the offer. Try to arrange some friendlies with team from higher division. But I would suggest you to stay. At least you will get division winner prizes. Good luck! |

Yea, that is the other thing I was wondering. Would I miss out on the cash I would get for winning my division? My team isn't great, but it would be a top 5 team in the division I would be moving to. I would have a lot of wins to make up in the mean time though. I guess I am leaning towards not moving up yet. | 16/11/2011 06:45 |

Okay, put more properly. When you move up you can charge slightly higher prices on your tickets to achieve the same attendance. Stadium upgrades aside, the risks are that generally you are offered teams towards the bottom of their current group. You would need to earn enough points to avoid relegation back to the division you were just leading in. If you get lucky enough to get offered a team that could potentially be promoted you run the risk of moving up the ladder to quickly before your team is truly ready. If the team is likely to be somewhere in the middle, safe from relegation but not likely to be promoted, the trade off is cash, from higher ticket prices versus a Golden Ball reward if you win your group. That is a call you have to make. |
