It happens, maybe someone who found your players then couldn't be bothered to look around for cheaper or maybe your players had good progression and you didn't know it. Cash has a tendancy to devalue quite quickly in this game, so maybe it was a long term purchase. I had two ave 50 CF's hostiled the other day for 20m and 23m, I bought 1 replacement for 18m.
