Sorry guys to get into your private forum but I'd like to have your thoughts: Next season we will have div.2 as the highest division and the Striker Cup will be the highest competition among us. None of these have a championship prize apart from ticket sales. I'm thinking of creating a private league next season called "Striker Premier League" which will be the most competitive league with highest prize. - 14 team - 10m registration fee - 140m prize (1st 84m, 2nd 33.6m, 3rd 22.4m) It would be great if all members are from Top team only, but they might don't want to leave their current private league and some team may be good enough e.g. ABJ's India United who kicked me out of the Striker Cup, Gaborvagyok's A.C. Somewhat sound like All Stars Private League @shengli did in the 2nd season I like the idea, are you going to do just 1 league or more ? When you mean Top team, who are you referring to ? The high ranking , 2nd Div teams only or something else ... |

Yeah, much like @shengli's All Stars Private League which I was a member of their lower league. The Striker Premier League is just 1 league, like the Striker Cup which will last for one season only, no promotions, no special rules, everyone just go for the championship prize. As it will be very difficult to maintain the secondary leagues system as All Stars Private League were. Top team meant high ranking team e.g. #1 @shengli and so on, but actually there is no restrictions at this stage since I'm not sure if most of them will join or not. Just would love to have the highest competitive as much as possible. |

It is a good idea, but people are unlikely to leave their private league for it and then you have the possibility that the teams in your SPL aren't actually the best the ones in the game. Also it will only be 14 teams as that's the max and I'm sure there more than 14 top teams in this game that would easily give each other a hard time. Maybe in a few seasons time people might be more willing, but who knows... you can still obviously do this private league but have to accept that it won't be as good as you first intended it to be. The money side of it in my opinion should attract some of the best teams to join. |

That's exactly my most concern. So I'm trying to make it simple as much as possible. Lots of people complained about no money prize for the Striker Cup and League, it would be great then if we can have a real competitive league with 140m prize to flight for. @shengli was trying to setup the All Star Private League just like a secondary league system and failed. http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=252949 http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=252960 I was finish 1st of div.5 and no promotion for the following season, the league was just collapse. I think it would be very difficult to maintain that kind of league system unless done by the admin. |

That is true, i finished 8th in the 2nd division . After that , i quit . I found it to be not so competitive and mostly because i stripped my @ title . Good thing, Infamous 14 is helped me out . |

Maybe prizes should be added to the striker cup... Also in a few seasons time when we have Division 1, that will get a lot of attention and be very competitive, I would hope that it too would gain some form of prize and it is the top division after all. |

Next season some of the teams in our league will be very strong, judging by the time and effort they put in this game. And this league already is one of the best. I don't think top teams will be leaving. We don't have price money but still competitive. | 15/11/2011 17:18 |
