to answer your question "how can this be?!" Let's look at your 2 recent losses: on Friday, you lost to an inferior team. You out-shot him, out-possessed him, out-passed him, out-recovered him, and yet lost 2-1. How??? 1) it was an away game, which makes your team slightly less accurate and powerful in shooting 2) you had *29* offsides and he had 0. His team got more chances and when it counted, this allowed more accurate finishing. 3) you gave up a penalty in the 90th minute, it was tied 1-1 before then. 4) tactically, he played more offensive players than you fielded defenders, and more defensive players than you fielded attackers. How? His midfielders played double-duty. This reduced the number of goal-scoring opportunities for you and increased his. All of these factors evened out the differences in your squad's individual players' strengths. In other words: his team played more as a team than yours, and the whole was much greater than the sum of the parts. It's kind of impressive that this is possible in a web-based soccer simulator, no? I hate losing too. I lost today, even though I consider my tactical abilities to be very good (yes, I'm bragging, which is ironic under the circumstances). It happens. Grow a pair and move on. Adjust your tactics after watching the game, learn from your mistakes, and you'll have more fun in this game. I already made some tweaks to my formation and tactics based on today's game, which will help me in next week's match-ups. |

i dont think people who go no forums saying "i have a problem but i can bother fixing it, can someone fix it for me?" deserve help. if you cant bother watching your games and fixing your mistakes then you'll keep losing. Only when you realize that you have to do some work on your part will other people's help be useful. | 14/11/2011 07:52 |

Here's a top tip. These teams are NOT Manchester United and are NOT Barcelona. This is a SIMULATION. And until you try a few different tactics that maximize the players you have, I expect you'll see your team losing to lesser opposition. No surprise there. Besides, you have an eight-point lead over your nearest rivals Wilmington in the league, you play in Division 4 with players that look as though they're punching above their weight, and you've already scored 90 goals with another half of the season to go. I'd be pretty content if I was in your position. So, again - look at your tactics (and look at your opponent before each match), and go from there. If you do not, and you continue to lose - you really don't have much case for a bitch in a forum such as this. Sincerely, Stundek Manager, Stonepost United. |

It seems you don't know what your problem is. Are you talking about barca and manu or complaining that you are losing to big teams. If you want to argue about real football not in these forum. Go to off topic........ | 22/11/2011 11:47 |
