Over the last few weeks, my lf has gained new skill points. He gets one point at a time, and I am notified by my scout(i think?). I go into my squad, and click on the player. The skills button shows +1, but, I cannot apply the skill to him. Whenever he gets a new skill point added(after a few games) the old skill point dissapears. its always +1, never +2, +3, +4, etc... I was able to apply one, very early in the season, but haven't been able to since. He only has one point applied to netbreaker thus far. He is a loaned player, did this change, where the players original team must apply the skill? I wouldn't think so, but figured I would ask since I cannot. Also, I am not getting skill points for any player, except for him. When the last adjustment was made, and several players on my team were awarded skil points at once, I have not received any for my players since then, except for a few to my lf. That is many weeks now my team has gone without getting new skills. thanx for any advice on this. |

Yes, only the manager loaning the player can apply the skill. Check on your players profile page - he has experience points from starting games. Hover your mouse over it and it will tell you when he will get to the next skill level. |

Okay, the reason that you can't assign the skill point is because he isn't actually your player. He is on loan from another team, and as such they have the honor of applying the skill point. The mods might want to list the notification of skill points to a team who is only holding the player on loan as a bug. He hasn't actually earned any additional skill points. The reason that you keep getting notified that he has gained a level is because that one point hasn't yet been assigned. Skill points, while faster than before, don't come up extremely fast be patient. |

thnx guys. I'm patient, just didn't understand it all. Rather than keep on spinning my wheels trying to figure it out, it's easier to ask sometimes. I didn't see it in the faq or anything, and since the message kept coming to me, I thought I had to apply the skill. |

Yeah, the message shouldn't come to you, but for now you can ask the manager loaning the player to apply the skill. | 09/11/2011 13:14 |
