@Bisho said: @GunnerNic said: Ridiculous! Why?? Because with this simulator you dont have to have a 86 or even a 99 GK to win lots of matches. I just put 4 past your GK that Bluegene has on loan. So its silly to pay such a large amount of money and yes, its way overpriced as well. Just my opinion and I thought it was ridiculous, I have a right to my opinion and thats it, I'm not going to get into a debate over this, especially in our own private league forum. "fair" or "not", the simple truth is transfers like this aren't gud enough for the game, its way 2 high. I think i'll start thinkin of how to sell my 64/18 GK for 200M, since his forcast reads 86. Wonder what this game wil luk like in ten more seasons to come with transfers like this. Buying players of 70AV for 1Billion. Even UEFA rules against this! | 09/11/2011 21:18 |

By the way Bisho, training is not as slow as you say it is. you can take a look at my juniors, just this season some have improved 3-4 points from the start of the new training implemented by the admins. Its not slow at all. | 10/11/2011 03:35 |

Training is faster than last season. Last season I could only improve .6/day 2x week and .4/day 2xweek = 1.2 + .8 = 2.0 This season I can improve at least .35 PER DAY for EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK. = 2.5 in a lot of cases. Over 3 points in some cases. It's faster. Not because you can't train for bigger amounts, but because you can train every day. |

Look at the slope of the line before and after the hump (that bump is all the screwed up stuff which shows when the seasons were) Tell me which is steeper: http://uk.strikermanager.com/inicio.php?accion=/jugador_entrenamiento.php%3Fid_jugador%3D964264 http://uk.strikermanager.com/inicio.php?accion=/jugador_entrenamiento.php%3Fid_jugador%3D3369481 http://uk.strikermanager.com/inicio.php?accion=/jugador_entrenamiento.php%3Fid_jugador%3D1085261 http://uk.strikermanager.com/inicio.php?accion=/jugador_entrenamiento.php%3Fid_jugador%3D1137440 Now tell me....what training is faster. It doesn't take a degree in math to see that the line is getting steeper. Now, consider this: Some of these players have crossed 55, a supposed breakpoint in training where it is supposed to SLOW DOWN. HAHAHAHA..... Told you it was too fast. Junior training has been purposefully made faster so the lower Div teams can catch the higher teams. Users asked for it - now they got it. Its now possible to reach within 10-15 points of the top teams because of the faster training for the low AV players. By low I mean 20 - 60. 60-70 training definitely slows dramatically, 70-80 is very slow and 80 + is going to be ridiculously slow. I can see it already with a few players that have hit 80. So slow, I'm convinced very few players will ever reach their 90+ forecasts, if any. So while the top teams sit on a 80 av team all the other teams will catch up and be 10-15 points behind and as we all know only too well a 60 av team can beat a 75 av team with better tactics. If you train for specific attributes only, training is not as fast as you think and if you manage to convince admin that training is too fast it would be a great shame because we would revert back to training averages as quick as we can just to make a profit. As it is now a clever manager will train the right attributes for the right players to produce a very strong team (not necessarily a high av team) and will also have very valuable extra players to sell off to managers who trained purely for average and now find their team is actually weak. Training in this way you will find training is not very fast at all. |

I still have to wonder. Previous number 10 record transfer was ~150M 8 or 9 of them were CF (don't know who dropped off) only 1 of next 9 are GK. This is the notorious Kameni, who helped chubbyers bankrupt (sold for 180, later sold for 75M nullifying 180M value) 5 of the 9 are star players. So no GK has sold previously for even half that previously. I'm sure this transaction could have been conducted for less. Given that the player may never make 99 anytime in the next few years (and he surely won't be trained by new owner), claiming slowed training makes valuing on extremely high forecasts an empty argument for very high players. I realize I just said training is faster, I see your point and concede it. But either side of this one is a loser for high level players over 80. If training is faster > 80, then prices are lower because training is easier and FC is devalued. If training is crazy slow > 80, then forecast shouldn't be considered in player pricing because it has no direct impact. GK value also isn't what it used to be, because tactics play much larger part. I defeated 81 GK yesterday. Most of the undefeated teams in Div 2 have GK at least 4-5 points below 80. So while it helps victory conditions, 3 100M defensemen would probably contribute more. Given all of this, I realize that this was the VERY LAST piece to chicherito's puzzle. His team is awesome, and he probably would have paid all of his money for a great GK. I'm just saying it probably wasn't necessary. At a minimum, this kind of transaction by an attorney @ should get clearance beforehand. We are forced to go to @ttorney for every high level transaction to see if it is within "market"...even for high players. Shattering the previous GK transfer record by 100% (!) is...uh...[speechless] I mean, what would shut this down quickly is the same thing that would shut down sales talk like this all of the time: "I cleared it with @...." Since Bisho is a judge of this type of transaction, the size of this transfer should have been cleared beforehand. If it wasn't, it should definitely be reviewed. 100% agree with this^^^ I did say that the transaction was overpriced. I agree with Horath - if one of us had done it, we would be slammed with a massive fine. There is no way on this planet that that GK was worth more than 200M. |
