haha yea. even tho im not a messi or a cristiano ronaldo fan (rooney ftw!) i actually found this really cool... i honestly have no clue how he can shoulder it fully in the dark.... how? lol |

Have watched these guys fight for ages. Personally I'm a Liverpool.....Gerrard fan .No need to attack me too. I know he is a bit old and overrated now but he is still my fav player. Ok Christiano is cool and all kicking balls in the dark....respect to that and all the free-kick scored But Messi has still been twice the best player of the world. You can only brag when you actually achieve something. So I will go in favor of Messi in my following arguments. You guys are like.....he is short he would be nothing without that. Height gave him his skills. You say he took drugs. REALLY? Who has never taken drugs (many of that in hospitals). If it was illegal he wouldn't be accepted. Even if Messi didn't play soccer I don't think that Christiano would have won 2 Golden balls consecutively. You also say Messi is helped by inesta, xavi. EXACTLY HE IS HELPED, that's why we say that soccer is a TEAM sport not an individual sport. That's why "best player" rating doesn't matter so much. That's why Spain has the current world title holder. Because their "team" (not individuals) is good. VIVA ESPAÑA (my fav soccer national team) . in 2009 ronaldo ended 2nd for ballon d'or.. so without messi he wouldve had 2 ronaldo is waaaaaaay better than messi lol and that vid proves that messi would be a huge fail in another team... spain had a good team but now they suck again in 2010 from day 1 i said that spain will win xD but for 2014 it wont be spain Edited by zaboer 08-11-2011 18:10 |

I don't really agree with that. Of course Spain is a much more complete team than Argentina, but I don't agree with Argentina having a similar level to Portygal. Only in defense Portugal may be better, but Carvalho's absence will make a lot of difference, since there isn't a single portuguese central defender as good as him, even at his age. In midfield, Portugal lacks a good defensive midfielder (Meireles plays well there, but his optimal position is playing as a box-to-box), and a good attacking midfielder (there aren't portuguese players with the level of Cambiasso or Mascherano, or Pastore). And, in attack Argentina as far more potential, since Helder Postiga, Hugo Almeida or Nuno Gomes are average quality strikers, not even close to Pipa, Kun or Tevez. I think the problem with Argentina is more at the management level, because they can't seem to choose a good manager, who can make a good team and not a mere set of great players. Portugal needs a little more than that... |

Ronaldo ended 2nd once but not twice. I said he wouldn't win it twice consecutively. Look at him say that Messi would fail in another team. You saying that he fails in Argentina?.....hahaha. Does Ronaldo do any better in Portugal. You can start bragging or arguing too when Real win the Champions league or Ronaldo win this year Golden Ball award. |

Heres the truth: Both ronaldo and messi are successful soccer players. They both earn more money than anyone here can count (excluding myself  ]No one is taking in effect about who both messi and ronaldo are playing with. Ronaldo or messi do not just grab the ball from their end and score by themselves.. both of them have good chemistry with teammates. All their success goes towards the players who they play with and also themselves. Everyone keeps saying ronaldo is better or messi is better... but infact both are great, both became really good because of whom they play with. ronaldo got 30 goals or w.e last season how? because of his teammates making plays for him to score. (his finishing also takes effect, cuz u need both good teammates and finishing). And same goes towards messi. hopefully someone reads this. |
