Hello all: When you search with your Scout, and identify players that are around a certain average (i.e. above 20)... the scout will NOT bring back any players in the search. Rather, you can't set an average parameter in order to get results. Will this be fixed? |

I think this one has been addressed.... very rarely free youths over 20 avg right now |

All those "free" youths are players released from schools. I think what is happening is that players who are released stay on the same average that they were. e.g. 15. Players that are promoted from schools jump to between 25-40 av. I actually think this is a good thing and not a bug. If you want free players go search, if you want decent Ave players go buy them from the market. It makes schools worth investing in. |

It does make schools worth investing in... it doesn't make it worth having a scout that you pay $300,000 a week for. |

You get a "bonus" for having the player in the school... So...you betcha it is worth it at this point... But, it's can be a HUGE investment, and depending on the school and players coming out...you aren't exactly getting payback tomorrow either. Is it worth it going forward? I don't know if they are going to fix the "free youth" "problem" He gains something on the order of 10-20 points on promotion to junior squad (as part of the school fix) |

Part of me doesn't mind the free youths being around 20 or so avg. It makes schools a viable option and encourages schools. If the objective is to remove money from the system, then schools are a good route. | 04/11/2011 05:21 |

[end quote] What if there was say an extra 3-8 point bonus for people in schools based on the talents of your scout. Since having a 300,000 scout is essentially useless right now.
