This new simulator is just unrealisic I'm sorry no matter what you can say,in the old one if you had a better team you'd win buut not necessary all the time,with this one you can be playing at home have the strongest team and play a side with an average of 38 sitting rock bottom and you'd be mid table with an average of 51 and still lose.Yet you go on about tactics,I've tried varoius tactics,offensive balanced and attact and still lose to a weak side.this simulator does not show a true reflection of game.sometimes your opponent will have a red card in the 5th minute and they avg 42 and you 51 but you still lose 5-1 at home.I'm even contemplating leaving this game now because its just become obsurd and unrealistic.not the best team wins and that is unfair. | 02/11/2011 15:47 |

Guy, try using 2 formation per game. Let me explain: use ur favourite formation in the 1st half and use a formation which may favour u changing 3 of ur players in a new formation in the 2nd half who may necessary need substitution | 02/11/2011 19:35 |

sorry, but i disagree. In the old sim, if you had a better squad and played a 3-6-1...you won 95% of the time. In this sim you have to watch games, analyze tactics and make changes accordingly. I havent watched any of your games, just looked at your last game's line-up so here is some places where you might be going wrong: 1- if you're not using advanced formation, try it...but be careful and make changes slowly. Dont try fudging too much with it at first, you wont know what is better and what is worse if you make lots of changes. That being said, if you have already used advanced tactics and its not working...start from scratch and build a new formation. 2- your defensive line is too wide, put your full backs closer to the center. 3- Try the offside trap strategy. watch a team that uses it and try starting from there. I can already see lots of people whining about others using offside trap. 4-Do not copy other people's formations/tactics blindly! not everything will work everywhere...start somewhere and make your own path. 5- watch top team's games. you will learn a lot by seeing how they place their players and what tricks they can pull off with advanced formation. It is confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it...you will really enjoy it. There's lots of things you can do with the advanced formation. Try the tactics part too, but the advanced formation is more important. |

Don't lose hope. Before the league games were about to start I was losing every game. Even drew 1-1 to a noob and lost on penalties. Then I started watching my games and see were my defence were leaving space, what's the best tactic for my strikers to score and how to make my mids earn more possession. Then I won that same noob 9-1. Also always watch 2 games of your opponents; their last game and the last game they lost (to see how to get them). Follow soli's advices............and don't forget to spam him when anything goes wrong  |

Solirocket is right... with tactics he's able to win teams about 10-12 points better(average)  |

I'm already having a hard time keeping secret any changes i make to tactics. btw, @dnsvnsk is one of the top teams. he has a 16 game streak until now and he is an @, so he knows a lot. just keep checking his games and that'll be enough for you  EDIT: dont forget to check the tactics of all the other @s including @rebsiot, @gunnernic, @bluegene, @cellog. other players who have good tactics are rishu5, godson and satkan. I have seen some really good results by having good tactics. In one game this top team had 80 ave GK, so the opponent thought the strikers weren't good enough to beat that GK so went defensive and got a 0-0 draw. | 04/11/2011 00:32 |
