This is the scenario, I have very young forwards and dedicated 2 days of training back to back to see how they progress. My 43/19 LF didnt improve the slightest bit. Training was shots on goal and penalty shots. Even some of the midfielders and defensemen improved!! O.o
I paid to see his forecast and its a flat line. HOW CAN A 19 YEAR OLD PLAYER PEAK?? is there a bug with the forecast or.... whats going on? I only have a vague idea of how progress works/is determined.
Also my coach is 63%, not the best but not bad either.

Whatever your training was, it was bad. your best player improved .001, it's no surprise that some players saw no gain

Try tackling or running, then see if he improves on overall average.

The training was penalty shots. Its supposed to be the best training for LF correct?
Why would my 43/19 forecast be a flat line? Could he really be peaking at 19 years old? If so SM definitely has to do something about this, 19 is not the prime of the vast majority of players.

Its not his age - its all to do with his forecast. Sell flatliners (low progression) and buy high progression players - they will generally have better forecasts.

How do you determine progression? Of both my players and players from other teams? 22/10/2011 15:40

Its not easy to get it exact now with the new sim - only players in schools will have the exact progression shown.
Its not a linear training progression with a complex formula involved which has not been made available to us users.
A search+ progression search with GB's will at least give you a rough idea (i.e 80+ )
