So, what do you make of this?:

I just auctioned off a low quality Right Back I had: Jim Sharp, 20 years old, statistics as follows:

Mental: 23.13
Physical: 24.28
Defense: 11.80
Offense: 8.57
Total Avg: 24.01

The auction was busy, with about 15 (counter)offers and made it up to about $400,000 (which alone was way too much, but a newbie might not know that). And then one of the participants offered $1,500,000, and a salary of $22,700. Insane, and it doesn't fit with any other player on his squad, either. And it appears to be a new league (Div 7, Gr 986) since no games have been played.

So, what do you make of it? Surely even a newbie would know better than to spend so much for one player.

See anything in there that says $1.5M + a salary of $23k?

Golden Ball

progression is hidden. someone may have picked it up in GB search.

Or, a bidding war could have broke out.
