Compare a players value for his passing attribute to the number of good passes he makes. You might find it interesting. You will find high value midfielders will often have a 100% success rate for good passes, (seems unlikely doesn't it). But defenders are really interesting, here are some examples from a variety of teams (good and bad). CDF Passing 36% giving Good passes 5% RDF Passing 27% giving Good passes 10% RB Passing 31% giving Good passes 6% RDF Passing 32% giving Good passes 10% CDF passing 46% giving Good passes 17% CDF Passing 30% giving Good passes 15% None of the players had a Precise pass skill and all had played a high number of passes so as to be statistically significant. The conclusion is even if you have the best defender in the game his pass success rate is so low that he would be more likely to find one of his own team mates if he tried to pass to the opposition. |
