It seems like there is some minimum card count which is being applied to matches. Normally I'm seeing 3 yellows per game on a consistent basis. Seems that there should be more randomness in the amount of cards as we know some games are clean and others have lots of rough contact. Thank you. |

I think this might be correlated with how good players in the game are at tackling (technique, tackling, strength etc.), and how good opponents are at avoiding tackles (ball control, dribbling, speed etc.). If this is a new team, in Div. 6 or 7, defenders may be more clumsy in their lunges, thus fouling more. The more they foul, the more likely they are to be booked. In Div. 3, defenders may be better at choosing the times they commit to ground, and thus, they foul less. Similarly, if you're playing a player who controls the ball very well, he may be better able to avoid tackles and draw fouls. Being a mid-table guy in my league, I've noticed I get more cards against teams with higher averages, than I do against teams of lower average. I am just annoyed by the times when my entire backline seems drawn to getting thrown out of the match. In my only cup match, and in a league game I have had both of my CDFs get thrown out, in the cup match my RB was also ejected. | 20/10/2011 02:38 |

Another terrible simulator match today. I'm playing an opponent who never logged on after account creation. Every one of their players had zero stamina bar at the beginning of the match. I get a red card and 3 yellow cards while he gets nothing. Additionally several of my players are purchased and better than the default players of the other team. It makes no sense that rested players with higher skill get 3 yellow cards and a red against a lower skill completely tired team who gets nothing. |
