Do they actually affect the game in anyway after the match? I received a red card recently but my player is available for the next game. I'd like to know if anyone has any experience with this. I really want the game to be fair to all players and think that it's only fair that a player be banned for 3 games for a straight red and one game for accumulation of every 5 yellow cards in a season. let me know. Thanks 18/10/2011 10:18

It's normal in soccer. Cards received are only affecting by tournament, league, private league or friendlies. For example, your player get a red card last Monday (league match), he still can play for friendly on Tuesday. But on Wednesday, he definitely can't play the league due to being banned.

If get booked on Monday and by Wednesday the booked doesn't count, then it should be a bug.
