I've been wondering the benefits of a better financial manager. I'm I right at guessing he allows you to get better billboard offers, sponsor offers as well as a higher rate of interest on deposits? | 14/10/2011 15:56 |

Supposedly yes, supposedly yes, and nominally. Upgrade other staff first I think. Others my have different opinions. |

The financial manager is the only staff member that pays directly for himself. At the beginning of last season I upgraded him from ca. 15000$ to ca.100000$ and I'm definitely better off now. I still wouldn't recommend to hire a very expensive one because the difference would not that big to pay for the tremendous rise in costs to get the last 10 or 20% out of this position. Cheers for the reply, I've been looking at my hirings and working out if its worth having the best or saving a bit of cash in the wage department. ATM I would value Coach/Youth Coach Financial Manager Psychologist Doctor Physio Coaching secretary Scout I don't use the scout very often nor the scout reports simple because I prefer to base judgments on now the simulator and previous games. Looking for youth and senior players I would tend to go through other teams and hopefully stumble upon a bargin. I don't often buy players. With the private league and regular league the doctor for quick recoveries, psychologist when I loose (lol), and to a lesser extent are more important. Apart from the start of the season the physio hasn't really been used since fitness is 99, its only stamina that is down. Looking at the staff got me thinking that a good financial manager might be worth it simply to get the most out of my assets and help build my stadium quicker and eventually schools. Out of interest to anyone else reading, what value do you put on your staff? Edited by javaman 14-10-2011 18:01 |

when my financial manager jumped from 97 to 99, my highest billboard offer jumped from $30,000 to $40,000. I'd say that is a significant difference. I won't know about sponsor until next season, but I suspect it's a similar jump. | 16/10/2011 05:57 |

This helpful - thank you! I was wondering about my staff too and I'm reworking it a little to get the most out of it. It sounds like courses a good way to improve the staff too, but they are expensive. I have heard that if you can only have ONE max coach (i.e. 99%), that it should be a youth coach or coach. I'm going with the youth this season, which is apparently not as beneficial as it has been in the past b/c of changes to training, but I'm new still so I am working my way up to a really good youth coach with only average other staff. These salaries increase quickly though......so I need a good stadium to make consistent revenue to pay for this staff now. Sigh. |

I would go for coach since the new longer careers players will stay with that coach longer. Also improving your main team is what keeps you winning basically your foundations. Youth players can be promoted early, problem is morale drops to 0 and their rating will drop so use your psychologist to fix that and their rating will return. | 16/10/2011 23:02 |

Don't promote youths early, their long-term career is also shortened. Your future is in your youth coach. You also need a good coach. This is why I have both a 99 coach and 99 youth coach. |
