Hostiles have been insane with everything going on lately, soli and I and a bunch of the pirates (and Uruguay) were talking about it, we've all bumped up our clauses, cause apparently players are worth more. | 14/10/2011 00:09 |

I had my two best players from last year hostiled (both 62). I have a more balanced team now, but haven't been able to replace the firepower of my RW (I've got a bunch on my shortlist and I'm saving up to make a big buy or two). I can use a little opinion poll . . . I think I've got the players to win my division, right now. Should I spend the money to upgrade my stadium (which will have long-term impact on my team) or upgrade my roster? I've kind of mentally committed to getting a big striker/winger, but every time I pause and think about it, I start to doubt whether that's the best approach to take. I'd like to hear thoughts. |

If you can get promotion with your current squad, dont spend more on players. Thats my approach. A few exceptions would be if you find a great deal, like a high prog player that is at a very low price or a high average player with a low hostile...other than that, invest long term. |

I agree with Solirocket I upgrade my stadium every week now even if I can only afford more standing as its the time it takes to upgrade that's killer. If you can get a player on top of that go for it, but by well I always buy a player I know I could make a profit on. | 14/10/2011 13:41 |
