I think it behooves us to have a discussion and clarification regarding skills. What value do they add to a player? Currently prices are only determined by average. Id like to know what player is more highly valued - a 40/21 with two skills vs a 50/21 with no skills. Or insert anothe r example but hopefully the point is clear. With there being a crackdown on irregular transfers, it probably behooves the powers that be to understand this so theu can regulate the market accurately. Sadly this doesn't seem to be thought of prior to implementation.... Also Id like to know a bit more about what benefit the skills provide. Does "precise pass" increase pass efficiency by 1% or 10%, what about Net Breaker etc etc. Also someome should clarify why temp promoted jrs don't gain experience. Bug or no? How is experience gained? A developer really needs to write a skills faq. This again goes back to the atrocious communication. Thanks. |

my temp promoted junior has experience. He's started 2-3 games. We are seriously generating faqs as quick as we can. The dev is working on bug fixes. Experience chart and speed of gaining experience is going into faq now if it's not there already. I reject the atrocious communication as falling back onto a canard whenever we don't hear something we need, or driving through rearview mirror. The skills do not add to attribute. They impact game play directly. That is about all i know, though. with regard to value, that will be determined by market, but should also serve as basis for market value, i feel. We all know that average is what is currently the standard. So you should be able to find GREAT values for your team in the auction. |

Thanks for the information. I look forward to an updated faq. I do want to know more about how skills affect the game. I understand that precise pass doesn't increase the passing stat by 2%. I'm also interested to see about the market prices. About the communication - its a fact that until recently it was atrocious. Even now simple questions that should have been discussed prior to implementation arise. Its my hope that the powers that be continue forward thinking and asking themselves such obvious questions prior to implementation. It would save questions and time. |

FAQ was updated before this thread was posted. The info there is all we know at this point. As Reb said, we update as soon as we know. Bear in mind some aspects of the game are left for us to figure out, which makes it fun and rewards the ones who figure it out first. Competitiveness = fun = addiction btw, I can see the results on the field from the skills I have given to my players. And I'm enjoying figuring out which trainings affect which stats. I disagree about communication - I think its very good now between mods and users and thats all you need to worry about - dont expect direct communication with admin apart from the update messages. |

So can someone explain this whole +skills business to me?... what does it mean. For example I clicked a +Skills for Panther Saves for my GK. Now it shows 20% against Panther kills. Is this the max?... when can I spend another +1 Panther Skills to my GK? |
