1) player statistics are trained individually, not in aggregate, and then total average is calculated. Last season, total average was incremented, then divided up between the stats.
2) training types and amounts changed
3) forecasts changed slightly
4) we don't understand the training fully yet, so these answers could change.

I'm only getting about 0.02% increase on a stat per training session ie. passing, ball steal etc. Is that normal cause it'll take the entire season plus many more to even increase by 1% and since training is limited to twice weekly I can't stack. Yes I know my coach and motivation aren't great but I would hope players would progress slightly better. TBH having a youth team, school and coaches aren't worth it at this rate.

1 or 2 stats will train better than others with each training type. Training is now integrated with your long term tactical plan. In other words, if you like a risky high line of defence to play for offside, you will probably want to increase the speed of your defenders to get back and cover. If you play 4-3-3 and use a lone IM in the middle, you may want to concentrate on his passing stat etc.
We are all currently trying to figure out which trainings improve which stats.
We are in communication with admin about the current slow trainings - the stat training increases seem slightly too low and the overall training increase seems way too low. We have been informed that training could still be tweaked so we will keep you informed.

Cheers for the reply, So basically your youth team should mirror they style your main team plays (for best feed progression) and the formation and tactics you choose also affect training? Is that the intended built in mechanic or is it still relatively unknown if that actually happens? 10/10/2011 14:29

If you want to feed your senior team with juniors then yes.
Some managers, however, will continue to train just one or 2 positions, mainly to sell players on.
Training will affect the stats of a player, subsequently the way he plays, which is then (hopefully) a useful player for your formation / tactic.

Always schedule the training yourself if you can. The automatic system doesn't pick the best Training to suit your team. 11/10/2011 19:06
