I do not know if forecast is working or not properly. I was curious about why one of my juniors which i had promoted from the China school went down in average. I decided to see the forecast. It shows that the player was promoted at their peak and there was no room for improvement at all. Yes, the player had a love progression around 30, but i figured i could at least train them till they were 18 and get a decent price for them in the market. As, i am typing this it has occurred to me that some of my players forecast have changed between the end of last season to the beginning of this new season. It seems that some players which had forecast to improve a little bit ( about 10 or so pts) have not flat lined and will start to decline. I don't know if this is supposed to happen of if it is a bug. If someone can help me out i would be greatly appreciate the help. | 08/10/2011 00:06 |

A progression 30 means the player is barely alive, i think. forecasting will improve over the next 2-3 days as training takes a firm grip. It takes 2-3 days for any current training to reflect in the forecasts. As for that slug...he is, well, a slug. |

i always thought that as long as the player young and growing he can improve ...maybe slower with a lower progression but still growing. Thank you for the heads up about the improvements on forecasting. A side question...i understand that a player who is 26/27 and they start to lose avg pts...because they are getting older and like you said pretty much barely alive and will be a slug. but that is for the older players...why would that be a case for the younger player on my youth team i know i have only played half of last season and somehow made it to div 4....but still youth is youth and they should improve and not be stagnant. |

Some youth peak early. Some never get better. I've picked up youth at 35 that max out at 42...and that would take 6-8 seasons! Not good at all. |
