actually not true. i had 52% possesion, and opponent 48% , and i still won. same with my private league cup. maybe u just get unlucky... but the fact you just gave is incorrect. |

possession as an absolute measurement no longer means possession in the upper 3rd is good. Also, if the team is playing counterattack, low possession can still mean great attacking chances because the possession had counts. I've seen this many times in real life, where a team pretty much never sees the ball, and then scores the only goal of the match on a counter, or in some cases, 2-3 goals. Same thing holds in the new sim. Incidentally, I've had higher possession in most games and won most of those games. Overall possession is just a function of how many inner midfielders you have on the pitch. |
