Reading some of the post for a national team got me thinking about honors for players. I think a World Cup type tourney would be incredibly hard to do, but something easy that might be interesting is that the best players from each country get selected to a national team, just for an award or honor for them. Another idea I had, and I think this could be the more fruitful one, would be an award for best managing during the striker cup. I had in mind it being for the manager who took the worst team the farthest, or at least for the team that got the farthest without being a team that simply has the best players. There could be other stats included in, maybe even other awards. Maybe we could do best manager of each division. I think this could be a nice way for lower division players and teams to get something out of the striker cup. |

+100 for the nomination for the best players from each country to a national team.. It would be great for simulator tests too. They could run the national teams through the simulator when they need some testing. |
