I am having trouble beating teams that were in my league last season, I have tried various combinations of tactics and advanced formations; but I keep losing... snapped a 31 game streak. I just can't get a handle of how to win in the new sim. Anyone else having this problem? I feel stupid for selecting a high team sponser because now I feel I'm going to finish pretty low. Side question: Can anyone tell me how to cancel friendlies already scheduled? |

Well just keep trying man remeber that you need to have a balanced formation in this new seem now average doesnt count as much as in the last one. So dont try to make funny formations so your can reach a high average. About the friendlies once you schedule a friendly you cant cancel it... | 30/09/2011 20:45 |

nve said: Use CF/RF/LF to increase your shoot on goal instead of RW/LW This is bad for me, I didn't have any useful CF's last season so I auctioned them away only my RW/LW were fairly good (one of them won the award for most goals and I joined 1/3rd of the way into the season) LOL look like I have to empty my bank account for a CF. |

My wingers are scoring lots of goals. Go into the formation, click on advanced. There are 24 places to drop the ball, drop it in each one and move your players around accordingly. For example ball is in opponent box, move both winger and CF into the box. Pack it out. Make sure each of the 24 places makes sense. Another example, ball is in your box, you want a very defensive formation. I actually bring my LB and RB into the box to defend. Drag the ball around and watch where your players move to. |

Yep, I have done this actually, for whatever reason my wingers are taking horrible shots, I think I may need to add a CF because it doesn't look like the IM takes shots? |

Wingers aren't that good at shooting. If you don't have a CF between them then get one quick. No your IM wont do a Frank Lampard unless he's in the box. IM is more of a Cesc F, passing the ball around. However I will say if you using wingers make sure that on the advanced tactic that they are in the box for all the last 8 boxes otherwise they will flit in and out. If you have just one box where they far out right/left it doesn't work very well. |
