What's the difference between "Slalom Ace", "Running with the Ball", and "Change of Pace"?

Which would you pick for a midfielder vs a striker?

A slalom is a technique in football where the player switches the ball to the opposite foot in order to pivot pass the opposing defender. They fake a shot then switch the ball to their other foot to dribble past them. You can youtube it and see an example of it. Running with the ball would be dribbling skills on how effective you can to keep the ball in your possession. Change of pace would mean the acceleration of your player when he's dribbling.

In theory, the forwards and offensive midfielders benefit more with the slalom ace ability with change of pace being behind it. The ability "running with the ball" is a valuable asset for midfielders whose job is to bring the ball up to the forward line. In my preference, I would rather choose the precise pass ability because I've always noticed my midfielders tend to pass more than dribbling with the ball.

Agreed, passing is key for Mid in this game (and in real life).

Now if we could figure out if passing ability includes the ability to receive and control passes.

My midfielders are definitely getting precise pass first! I'm just wondering which skills will come next.

Also, does anyone know how many experience points a player needs to increase in level? I want to rotate playing time to get lower players to level up.

I'd go for the dribbling with the ball as a second choice.

If I remember correctly, it's in intervals of five for levels. I'm not sure though.
