It would be nice to have a place in tactics where we can set the order of Penalty shot kickers in the case of a tie game. | 22/09/2011 04:32 |

I wanna dig this one out of its grave, and second the notion of being able to select your kick takers. At the very least it should go through your best "finishers"! I'm tired of watching 1/5PK tallies winning and half the shoots not even approaching the goal line! | 26/01/2012 19:31 |

In my brazilian server cup game today, it was 2-2, went to penalties. 4-4 on penalties with my guy to step up next. Boom, in the top corner. His dude steps up to keep him in the game. His GK takes it and it has so much curl on it and its so wide, it ends up going behind the player out the sideline. That puts him out the cup. Feel sorry for the dude haha | 26/01/2012 22:20 |

Of course, people would set the order, then not start one of the players... The game would randomly pick them then FREAKOUT IN FORUMS!?? | 26/01/2012 22:43 |

A freakout I think you cave both the wit and candour to deal with quite easily! | 26/01/2012 23:53 |

Unless the simulator has something the factors in mental factors what is the point? I assume currently that the simulator has your best (by stat) player go first, second best go second, etc.. The computer players dont have feelings and don't get psyched out so why would you ever do any other order than best shooter to worst shooter? Am I missing something? |

That would be completely understandable, but it doesn't seem to work that way. I think many of us are under the impression that finishing and leadership play a role, with finishing related to one's scoring ability and leadership related to their poise in the clutch (as a sort of built in psych out measure. I think this is why GKs have leadership in addition to saves. Obviously, I could be completely wrong on all accounts. With this in mind, have a watch at this shootout. http://uk.strikermanager.com/partido.php?id=5401206&accion=simul Obviously, the quality was quite poor. Take a look at who took the PKs for each team. Why didn't "RONALDINHO," a 60+ CF, shoot? Instead of CFs, LF/RFs and such taking PKs, we get fullbacks and centre halves (obviously this happens in real life, but for clearly for reasons this game can't reflect). I think watching games like this, especially at this point in the cup, is what is frustrating users... |
