Don't rain on my parade!  I thought with all the inevitable negative flack surrounding a bug-filled new release, it is worth acknowledging that being able to actually *see* the game has introduced a whole new level of management into the game. And this is GOOD. I thought it would be too complex to handle based on the screenshots posted earlier this year, but it is really useful. I was able to fix a few subtle problems and one major one (I hope) in my formation based on watching the games from this weekend. Rest assured, I will be one of the first to calmly and politely suggest improvements to the game. I am also one of the most vicious critics of abuse of power you'll ever meet, but this has nothing to do with the credit due to the developers for a fine job on a realistic-looking flash-based simulator. The complexity behind that design is mind-boggling, and to be so close to perfect once the initial I-can't-view-this-in-any-browser-or-OS glitch was fixed is impressive. Feel free to open other threads to complain, but let's keep this one focused on letting them know the good things. As a developer myself, I can tell you firsthand that it's nice to hear SOME positive praise amidst the recriminations and go-to-hells one gets after changing something drastically  . |

Okay nevermind, I can't watch brodie's game, so I can assume that mine can't be watched form another account. Either way, as long as I'm able to watch my league opener on friday, I won't complain. |

"I don't know" is always a valid answer. (In my opinion, it is) Or maybe having an @ collect up the questions, like bluegene collected suggestions or grantis (I think) collected questions. It looked cool, definitely...now I can see where my team is as clueless as I am... thanks for the info...even tho it's not info...it's nice to know that you are in the same boat. |
